Anxiety (including social anxiety, lots of worrying, phobias, fears, heart palpitations, sweating, compulsions, and unhelpful thinking) can make you feel incredibly constricted. Almost like you can't breathe. It can fill you up with dread and a longing for things to feel completely different from how they are right now.

Whom will I be working with?
I'm Alexandra Whitehead. With over 13 years of therapy, counseling, and coaching experience I can help you with your anxiety. I'm also a career coach, leadership coach, entrepreneur, and 3x business owner.
A bit about me personally...
I'm also a mum to a sweet and assertive four-year-old. I travel the world (I know...such a Xennial statement). I like yoga, the beach, the mountains. I'm a below-average surfer and above-average snowboarder. The latest course I've taken was on Shamanic Journeying and hypnotherapy and while I like data, I'm spiritual by nature.
I'm telling you this because the rapport that you and I develop is the biggest predictor of your success. It's a working relationship.

What can I expect?

All services are provided online, via Zoom video. This means you have more flexibility with consultation times and days. See me before work, during your lunch break, or even on your weekend if that floats your boat. Just choose a time that suits you best. I prefer to see you at the same time and day each week where possible, to ensure you get results.

Despite how awesome it would be, I don't have a magic wand to make your problems disappear immediately. Most people see me for a minimum of six sessions and do a considerable amount of internal work to reach their goals.
