Anxiety (including social anxiety, lots of worrying, phobias, fears, heart palpitations, sweating, compulsions, and unhelpful thinking) can make you feel incredibly constricted. Almost like you can't breathe. It can fill you up with dread and a longing for things to feel completely different from how they are right now.

Whom will I be working with?
I'm Alexandra Whitehead. I'm a registered psychologist with over 13 years of therapy, counselling, and coaching experience. I'm also a career coach, leadership coach, entrepreneur, and 3x business owner. I previously owned Be Psyched a Townsville Psychology practice and now I do everything online, over Zoom via Well Propelled.

So, if you're still in the blame game and not ready to own your own stuff, or if you're just looking for someone to listen to your problems for 50 minutes every week, I'm not your gal. I help my clients make progress. If you're unsure, you can email me, explain a little bit about what you're experiencing and I'll tell your straight up if I can or cannot help you.
Despite how awesome it would be, I don't have a magic wand to make your problems disappear immediately. Most people see me for a minimum of six sessions and do a considerable amount of internal work to reach their goals.
